WOSCAP project presented at the GPPAC's International Steering Group Meeting and discussed at the Permanent Missions to the UN

During the GPPAC International Steering Group (ISG) Meeting, the WOSCAP project presented its main objectives and the initial research findings. These insights can be used to inform local peace initiatives in the regions of the GPPAC members.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
After the successful ISG Meeting, last week, GPPAC met with relevant policymakers at the Permanent Missions to the UN and researchers in New York, to share the first results of the WOSCAP project and discuss potential areas of engagement next year. 
 
The EU and UN officials are asking many of the same questions about what inclusion means, and how their respective conflict prevention policy ambitions can be implemented. This makes the work of the WOSCAP project relevant at both EU and UN level, especially in relation to its research on the EU's "multistakeholder coherence".
