WOSCAP's Successful First Periodic Review

On January 20th, the first successful Periodic Review meeting of the WOSCAP project took place in Utrecht, hosted by Utrecht University. Consortium members and external experts together with the European Commission's Research Executive Agency gathered to take stock of the achievements of the project until now, and discuss next steps. It was positively assessed overall, with recommendations to enhance its strategic impact.

The 2,5 year project has completed its first two phases which focused on the field and desk research to collect evidence on EU peacebuilding and conflict prevention efforts and good practices. In the remaining 10 months of the project, the findings will be analysed through comparative analysis and peer review, and be shared with stakeholders and debated in various policy forums in and outside of Europe.
